Job Title: Dock Worker Pay Rate: $16.86 Schedule (Days and Time): 8am-430pm Job Duties/Responsibilities Efficiently and safely load and unload cargo from trucks and other vehicles using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and defects. Document any issues and prepare them for the correct destination. Accurately track inventory by recording shipments, maintaining stock levels, and reporting any discrepancies. Safely operate a variety of dock equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes. Adhere to all safety guidelines, wear personal protective equipment (PPE), and report any potential hazards or incidents to supervisors. Collaborate with other team members, logistics staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and meet deadlines. Keep the loading dock, walkways, and storage areas clean, organized, and free of debris. Job Requirements Minimum 6 months experience picking and packing in a manufacturing, or warehouse, environment. Ability to stand, squat, and bend for extended periods. Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
