Senior Swim Instructor

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Senior Instructor plays a key role in maintaining a safe, engaging, and exceptional product for students, parents, and staff. Benefits Paid TrainingDaily Pay availableSafeSplash Brands Curriculum CertificationFlexible HoursFree Swim Lessons for immediate family of employeesCareer GrowthHealth Benefits(30+ hours per week)Paid time off (30+ hours per week)Wealth Benefits(30+ hours per week) Responsibilities: Curriculum / Training Provide initial training for new staff and ongoing training for all team members to enhance their skills and stay current with standards.Ensure all required certifications are obtained, current, and compliant for all required staffTrack and manage the employee training lifecycle, including onboarding completion, required certifications, in-services, renewals, and ongoing development milestonesSupervise instructors and lifeguards to ensure high-quality lessons and adherence to safety and brand standards.Coach and mentor instructors both in and out of the water.Assist instructors in the water with challenges they are facing with the curriculum.Conduct quarterly in-services to ensure continued education.Provide constructive feedback to staff through evaluations or immediate feedback.Collaborate with the management team to determine training needs. Safety Ensure the safety of our customers and report any unsafe activities, equipment or instruction to management.Provide feedback to instructors immediately if they are outside of curriculum safety requirements (i.e. safety distances, holds, turning backs, etc.) Customer Deliver a world-class experience by addressing customer inquiries, ensuring we are delivering an exceptional product, and the swimmers are progressing.Assist instructors on how to communicate with parents on their child's progress. Job Type Weekdays, Weeknights and Weekends required20+hours a week (seasonality can impact this)Work Location: On-site Requirements Minimum of 6 months of teaching swim lessons at SafeSplash Swim School(preferred)Supervisor or team leadership experience in aquatics, education, or related field(preferred)Ability to work effectively in a team environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while being agile and taking initiativeComfortable working around water and interacting with children and parents.Must be able to lift50 lbs. and be on your feet for long periodsCPR, First Aid, and AEDcertificationsarerequiredwithin90 days of hire (we provide)Lifeguard certification; training and instructing required within 90 days (we provide)Experience in swimming instruction is required #slbspo
