Senior Mechanical Engineer - Self-driving Trucks

ISEE is seeking a full-time Sr Mechanical engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has several years of work experience and has experienced the product lifecycle (prototyping, alpha design, beta design, production).Role responsibilities include:Design and develop prototype hardware systems for productionComplete drawings and bill of materials for components and assemblies, and lead design reviewsSelect materials, interact with suppliers and manufacturers, and design for manufacturingQualifications:Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical Engineering5+ years relevant industry experience designing products for productionFamiliarity with GD&T and generation of engineering drawings and documentationFamiliarity with CAD Software (Solidworks, Fusion 360, Inventor), CAM processes (HSM Works, Fusion), and basic hand tool experiencePassionate about AI, robotics, and self-driving carsExcellent communication skillsAV/Robotics/Logistics experience a plusWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
