Senior Designer - Men's Apparel

The Senior Designer will contribute to a leading lifestyle brand and work closely with Design Director as well as the Technical Design, Product Development, Production, and Graphic Design Teams to ensure that we are bringing the best design solutions to life. This role requires effective collaboration across all departments, as well as strong communication, creativity, and excellent organizational skills. This dynamic individual will articulate a clear POV on product while being considerate of brand history, identity, product strategy, and overall company goals. Responsibilities: Ownership of mens design in activewear and active lifestyle category Collaborate with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to the line, and create new concepts Conduct market research to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques and design inspiration Develop product design ideas from concept through final garment Develop ideation from color, fabric, fit, trim, construction, and detail Sketch design concepts Select fabrics and trims Create PLM tech packs Follow brand standards and actively evolve brand taste and quality Present seasonal product concepts to leadership and cross-functional teams Communicate with international sample room in the sample development process Ensure the product is consistent with the business strategy Communicate and problem-solve product development issues Review product for style and fit during fit presentations Provide leadership and guidance within Design team Qualifications: Fashion Design degree or equivalent experience 5-6 years of related product design and development experience Proven design expertise within or related to mens lifestyle apparel Knowledge of fabrications, trims, and apparel construction Proficient in Adobe Suite and Excel Proficient in PLM (Centric PLM preferred) Strong communication and leadership abilities Eye for building timeless, quality essentials with a strong understanding of how to balance on trend fashion items High level of integrity and strong work ethic Ability to adapt and handle work pressures with a positive attitude Strong attention to detail and organization skills Annual salary range starting at $100,000 The disclosed salary range is commensurate with experience and does not reflect the total compensation package.
