Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

We are currently recruiting for a Director, Financial Planning & Analysis for our client located in the East Bay. This role is hybrid and required to be onsite 3x week.What you will do:The Director, FP&A will play a critical role in defining the near + long-term financial strategy for the organization. This role will function as the finance partner for critical business areas + will drive improved financial outcomes by providing strategic financial insights across the organization. This role will manage budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking for respective areas, while analyzing product margins, sales performance, working capital and ROI on commercial initiatives. It will serve as a co-pilot with respective business leaders to help them improve business processes, drive efficiency + make optimal decisions. What you bring to the table:Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related required with an MBA or advanced degree a plus!10+ years in financial planning + analysis, preferably with a significant portion in a retail/consumer products settingUnderstanding of retail operations + in-depth understanding of a retailers P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet is a plusExcellent analytical skills, financial modeling capabilities, and an ability to quickly break down complex problems + reach creative solutionsExceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholdersPublic company experience is a plusIf this sounds like you and you want to be a part of a dynamic, fun, and growing organization then apply today!
