Purchasing Specialist-Spanish/Eng Speaking required

Job Description The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for coordinating with our field teams and office staff to source, purchase and deliver materials to our multiple active projects. Additionally, this position is responsible for overseeing the warehouse and scheduling the daily deliveries and debris collection. This position requires an excellent multi-tasker with exceptional organizational and document tracking skills for a fast-paced construction company serving San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area. FLUENT IN ENGLISH & SPANISH IS REQUIRED + EXCELLENT COMPUTER SKILLSResponsibilities:Order materials online, process purchase orders, work orders, packing slipsTrack all expenses daily on spreadsheet and BuildertrendSchedule the drivers for pick-ups, deliveries and hauling debrisCoordinate with Superintendents and team to schedule deliveriesAttend weekly project meetings, provide weekly status of job orders/delaysMake certain returns are processed timely to capture refunds and creditsNegotiate pricing, contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliersWork closely with vendors to ensure to capture all discounts, rebates, getting the most competitive pricingOrders are placed and delivered to job sites timelyOversee warehouse inventory, stocking material, restocking excess material, resourcing inventory to maximize material cost savingsQualifications:Experience working in purchasing (warehouse, inventory, personnel, construction)Working knowledge of the construction industry and familiarity with building materialExcellent computer skills (mac computers, google, spreadsheets, reading take-off plans)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExceptional multi-tasking, organizational and documentation skillsStrong understanding of purchasing, negotiation techniques and conflict resolutionFluent in both English and Spanish speaking is requiredCompensation:Pay Range $58K - $65K annually DOE ($27-$31/hr)8 paid Holidays + 9 Sick Accruable Sick Days1 week vacation after 1 year of employment401K after 1 year with up to 4% employer matchEmployee Profit ShareCompany DescriptionHolland Brooks Builders, Inc. is a general contractor focused on remodeling multi-family apartment units with work concentration in Alameda/Contra Costa counties and the San Francisco Bay Area.Company DescriptionHolland Brooks Builders, Inc. is a general contractor focused on remodeling multi-family apartment units with work concentration in Alameda/Contra Costa counties and the San Francisco Bay Area.
