HVAC Parts Manager

As an HVAC Parts, you will oversee the daily operations of our HVAC ordering parts, managing HVAC equipment and warehouse. Your role will involve ensuring that all HVAC materials are properly ordered, received, and stored, while maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating logistics, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ordering and Inventory Management:
Order HVAC Parts and Equipment: Identify and order HVAC parts and materials needed for ongoing projects and stock replenishment, ensuring timely and accurate procurement.
Inventory Control: Organize and monitor HVAC inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and availability. Track usage rates and forecast future needs based on project demands and historical data.
Prepare Orders: Prepare and package HVAC components for outgoing jobs, ensuring that all parts are correctly assembled and ready for delivery.
2. Shipping and Receiving:
Oversee Receiving: Manage the receipt of HVAC materials, verifying shipments against purchase orders, and ensuring that all items are accurately checked in and properly stored.
Shipping Coordination: Determine and prepare items for shipment based on shipping orders and HVAC equipment specifications. Ensure that materials are efficiently loaded onto delivery trucks and dispatched on schedule.
3. Warehouse Organization:
Maintain Organization: Ensure that the warehouse is clean, safe, and organized, with HVAC parts and equipment stored in designated areas. Keep shelves and workstations orderly to facilitate easy access and efficient operations.
Permit Management: Secure and manage necessary permits related to HVAC parts and warehouse operations.
4. Logistics and Coordination:
Delivery Coordination: Use the company vehicle to pick up and deliver HVAC materials to job sites as needed. Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of HVAC parts.
Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with HVAC suppliers to negotiate best prices and delivery schedules, and address any issues related to procurement or delivery.
5. Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to Standards: Follow industry-specific safety regulations and organizational standards related to HVAC warehouse operations.
Train and Supervise: Train and supervise warehouse staff in the best practices for handling HVAC equipment and materials, ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the HVAC industry.
In-depth knowledge of HVAC parts, equipment, and materials.
Strong organizational skills with a focus on inventory management and ordering processes.
Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
