Senior Java Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Java Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in developing and integrating a new Search microservice and leading technical efforts across our global development team. Troubleshoot issues and fix bugs in the codebase. Provide technical leadership to the offshore development team based in Europe and India. Act as the main point of contact for the client for all technical aspects of the project. Collaborate with the software architect to design and improve solutions. Qualifications Proficiency in Java. Strong understanding and ability to effectively use design patterns and algorithms. Experience in performance optimization and profiling. Proven experience with legacy code migration, including analyzing legacy code, extracting, and re-designing algorithms. Experience in writing comprehensive unit tests. Ability to lead and guide other team members. Would be a plus Containerization: Experience with Kubernetes and Docker. CI/CD: Familiarity with Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Cloud: Experience with Azure. Search Engineering: Experience in search engineering, especially with tools like Bloomreach or Constructor.
