Vacancy AnnouncementJob #25/26-24Please Post March 2, 2026POSITIONS:K-12 Summer School Teachers - Temporary, Multiple PositionsTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:Approximately 5 hours per day (8:30am - 1:30pm Grades K-8)Approximately 7 hours per day (9:00am - 4:00pm Grades 9-12)SALARY:$42/hour - contingent upon the district receiving ODE Summer School grant fundsSTARTING DATE:Session 1: June 15 - July 10 (Grades PreK-12)Session 2: July 13 - July 24 (Grades 9-12)PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:See "Job Description" in application packetMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent.Valid Oregon Teaching License with content area endorsements, as appropriate.Experience in providing academic intervention instruction in reading, math and/or writing.Working knowledge of Oregon state assessment grade level expectations.Experience in Pre/Post Assessment; andHold a First Aid card or obtain one as required by the supervisor.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Teaching experience with school-aged studentsBilingual: English/Spanish preferredHOW TO APPLY:Visit the Gervais School District employment webpage.
