The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data processing solutions. The role requires experience working with large datasets, distributed computing, and modern data engineering practices.Required Skills7+ years of experience in Python development. Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering and backend development. Hands-on experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing. Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as: BigQuery Cloud Storage (GCS) Dataproc Cloud Composer Cloud Functions Pub/Sub Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and scheduling. Strong knowledge of SQL and database optimization. Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines. Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Linux/Unix environments. Understanding of data warehousing concepts and distributed computing. Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and PySpark. Build and maintain data workflows using Apache Airflow. Develop cloud-native data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. Process and transform large datasets efficiently using Spark. Optimize SQL queries and improve data pipeline performance. Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders. Ensure data quality, security, and governance best practices. Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
