A studio led by a millennial with a vision influenced by contemporary times, working closely with a group of gen zs, while guided by experienced senior baby boomers.Job DescriptionBitarchitects is opening its Summer Internship 2024, offering a unique opportunity for talented architectural students to intern with our dynamic International team.Additional InformationResponsibilities:Managing design projects from concept development to completionConducting research and compiling reports on feasibility and environmental impactComplying with safety standards and international planning regulationsDetermining and adhering to budgets and timelinesCreating engaging social media content to attract customersAdjusting designs and plans to meet client needsPreparing drawings, blueprints, specifications, and construction documentsCollaborating with diverse construction professionalsAttending all Bitarchitects meetingsRequired major: BA in ArchitectureLocation: VirtualWorking hours:Monday to Thursday at least 5 hours working/dayZoom meetings with management in Washington DC from Monday to Thursday at 3:00 PM EST, 10:00 PM Beirut timeMajor Notes:The daily meeting attendance is mandatory (the intern that cannot join the meeting must send an official email mentioning the reason he/she cannot attend)The work of the day can be done at the intern's convenient time (as long as the work is done)Under any circumstances, early departure from the internship program will result in no certificate of completion or recommendation letterBenefits of the internship:Exposure to real-life architecture experienceGenuine teamwork coordinationUnderstanding of US building codes and regulationsDevelopment of wood construction drafting skillsEnhancement of self-confidence and self-motivationAdoption of a personal empowerment attitudeSuccessful performers will be eligible to internship level 2, which is paidPriority will be given to those who have successfully completed the internship for a future job position at the companyPayment Methods: UnpaidDuration: 3 months approx.
