Job Title: Commercial Litigation Associate (2nd–5th year)Location: Los Angeles, CaliforniaBasic Salary Range: $225,000–$325,000Firm Overview:A leading international law firm with a top-tier litigation practice is seeking a talented associate to join its commercial disputes team. The practice handles complex, high-value business disputes across a range of industries, often involving sophisticated legal issues, significant financial exposure, and fast-moving litigation matters. Associates are trusted with meaningful responsibility and work closely with senior attorneys and clients.Overview:Seeking a 2nd–5th year litigation associate to join a busy commercial litigation practice. The role offers exposure to all phases of complex litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Managing key phases of complex, high-stakes commercial disputes from initiation through resolutionOverseeing and coordinating critical stages of dispute resolution proceedings, ensuring effective case progressionHandling end-to-end processes in complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters, including strategy and executionQualifications:Must be admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction of the primary officeStrong academic record with good written and verbal communication skillsPrevious law firm and/or clerkship experience preferredExperience with discovery, drafting and arguing motions, witness preparation, and taking or defending depositionsExperience on both plaintiff and defense sides is a plusCompensation & Benefits:Base salary $225,000–$325,000, commensurate with experienceBonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits package
