School Counselor, LCSW or LPC - Part-Time

Job DescriptionAs part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking a Certified School Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor to provide in-person services for special education school students. This position is for the remainder of the current school year, possibility to extend to ESY and next school year. (please note that we cannot accept LGSW, LMSW, or LGPC licensure).Social Worker Position Details:Part-Time (2.5 hours per week with room for growth)Flexible ScheduleSmall elementary caseloadRequires one of the following licensures and experience working within the school setting as well as understanding of IEP and 504 plans (Approved Licensures: LGSW, LCSW, LICSW, LPC)Social Worker Qualifications:Licensure as a Social Worker or Counselor in MarylandPossession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearancesProof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)Social Worker Responsibilities May Include:Providing Behavioral Support ServicesDriving student achievement for students with disabilitiesResponding to progress monitoring results and student assessment dataProviding support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learningMentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skillsDeveloping effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for studentsHandling Medicare reimbursementsEnjoy scheduling flexibility, impressive hourly rates, and amazing support from our dedicated account team!Along with your resume, please include the best time of day and phone number to reach you.
