Special Education Teacher

Seeking a Special Education teacher to organize and implement a technology-based program supporting students with IEPs and 504 Plans in middle school mathematics.Create a positive classroom culture fostering achievement and student ownership.Collaborate with general education teachers to support student learning.Deliver daily, standards-aligned instruction with engaging, hands-on activities.Design an appealing, resource-rich environment highlighting student work.Communicate effectively with students and families about progress and needs.Work with school staff and participate in professional development to enhance instruction.Develop and implement SMART goals for IEPs and 504 Plans, maintaining all related documentation.Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, two years of special education teaching experience preferred, excellent communication skills, and relevant certification or exam completion. A Master's degree and ongoing professional development are a plus. Salary is commensurate with experience.
