Trusted by leading organizations across divere sectors such as finance, healthcare, retail, transportation, and manufacturing, ONE datAI is committed to delivering excellence and driving innovation.About the RoleOrganizational Data & AI LeadJob DescriptionLeading the organizational Data & AI domain and turning data into a core organizational capability supporting decision-making, operational processes, analytics, and innovation.The role includes responsibility for establishing and leading the central organizational data capability, formulating the Data & AI strategy, building the organizational data platform, implementing data governance and standards, prioritizing and leading cross-functional initiatives, and operating a Data Mesh model that combines a central platform team with data teams in business domains.The manager will hold overall responsibility for the central platform layer and will work in close collaboration with executive management, business unit leads, domain teams, IT, information security, and vendors.Key ResponsibilitiesFormulate and lead the Data & AI strategy in alignment with the organization's business goals.Build a multi-year roadmap for developing Data and AI capabilities.Establish an organizational operating model for Data, Analytics, and AI.Hold business and managerial responsibility for establishing the organizational Data / Lakehouse platform.Establish an organizational Data Governance framework.Lead the Data Catalog and establish a unified organizational business glossary.Define standards for Data Quality, Metadata, and Data Lineage.Lead a decentralized working model using the Data Mesh methodology, where units with Data capabilities manage their respective data domains.Promote the Data Products concept and business ownership of data.Create an organizational Analytics and Self-Service environment.Lead the definition of the semantic layer and organizational KPIs/metrics.Prioritize and lead cross-functional BI projects and dashboards.Build and manage a central Data & AI team.Provide management and professional guidance for Data Architects, Data Engineers, BI / Analytics teams, Project Managers, and DevOps engineers.Bridge business needs with technological solutions and lead end-to-end cross-functional processes.Job RequirementsAt least 5 years of experience in a managerial or significant leadership role within the Data domain.Significant experience as a Data Engineer, Data Architect, or Data Lead.Hands-on experience in designing and building complex data solutions.Experience in establishing or leading Data Lake / Lakehouse implementations in a cloud environment.In-depth knowledge of at least one leading data platform, such as Databricks, Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform, or equivalent platforms.Experience with Data Pipelines, ETL/ELT, SQL, Data Modeling, and system integration.Deep understanding of modern Data architectures, including Bronze / Silver / Gold layers and Data Products.Experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata, Catalog, and Lineage.Ability to understand business processes and translate them into Data requirements and technology.Experience working directly with business users, executives, and stakeholders.Proven ability to lead cross-functional processes and connect business and technology teams.Work Model : Hybrid📍 Location: [Jerusalem / Hybrid]📩 Sounds like you?Send your CV to Jobs@OneDatAI.co.il and mention role number 41718.
