Executive Chef
About the Role:
As the Executive Chef, you will oversee all culinary activities within our hospital, ensuring high-quality, nutritious meals are prepared and served to patients, staff, and visitors. You'll have the opportunity to design innovative menus, manage kitchen staff, maintain food safety standards, and contribute to the overall wellness of our community through exceptional culinary experiences.
70 - 80K, 5 day work week, relocation assistance if outside a 50-mile radius, alternating weekends, growth potential, full benefits, matching 401K, no late nights
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute creative menus that accommodate diverse dietary needs and preferences.
Lead and inspire a team of culinary professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Collaborate with nutritionists and healthcare professionals to deliver nutritious and delicious meals that promote healing and wellness.
Manage inventory, budgets, and procurement processes to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Support Patient Meals, Dr’s Lounge, Caterings and our Cafe
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Culinary degree or equivalent certification.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Creativity, adaptability, and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
