Whether you're a tech enthusiast, a strategic thinker, or a problem-solver, at G&A, you'll have the opportunity to level up your career while making a real-world impact.If you're ready to be part of a company that values purpose as much as progress, G&A is the place for you!Summary:Goldschmitt and Associates is seeking a Telephone Operator for an onsite position in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in support of the US Department of Veteran Affairs.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Route patient and other inquiries to the correct CMCVAMC location and program with accuracy and calm professionalismHandle emergency calls and support distraught or emotionally distressed callers with steady composure, empathy, and clear communicationMonitor emergency calls for patients while maintaining grace under pressure and strict adherence to safety protocolsNecessary Skills and Knowledge:Possess the demonstrated ability to remain composed, professional, and solutions-focused in high-stress or emergency situationsand maintain acute attention to detailMinimum Qualifications:Possess at least 1 year of contact center experiencePossess prior experience, knowledge, and understanding of medical terminologyPossess a high school diploma or equivalent certification, such as a General Educational Development (GED) diplomaPossess the ability to pass a Tier 1 National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) investigation and maintain eligibility, including possessing United States citizenshipPrevious experience of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and WordNOTE: This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities or qualifications associated with the job.
