Description Anesthesia/Pain Medicine Physician at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center & our Neighboring Sites We are seeking an outstanding anesthesiologist and fellowship trained pain medicine physician to join the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. This position is a full‑time Pain Medicine practice at the Arnold Warfield Pain Center and our neighboring community site. The Department provides leading‑edge anesthesia services for more than 40,000 cases per year, including neurosurgery, major vascular, thoracic, cardiac, solid organ transplant, ambulatory, and obstetric anesthesia, and has a substantial role in critical care and cancer related pain management. You will make a difference in patient care Ensure a superb patient experience, including high quality, safe, and pain medicine services at the Arnold Warfield Pain Center Expand your clinical experience by working alongside a multiple subspecialty‑trained team Educate peers and trainees Embrace our shared values of active engagement within our community and improving the strength of patient care Participate in nationally renowned teaching and research programs Contribute to a team culture dedicated to inclusivity, innovation, work/life harmony and collaboration Experience in treating cancer‑related pain patients preferred Who you are Degree in medicine from an accredited school and licensed to practice Fellowship in Pain Medicine Residency in Anesthesia Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Reliance on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Innovation is valued, and adherence to practice guidelines as set by governing boards is mandatory Pay Range Pay Range: $420,000 - $440,000. The base pay range reflects what the employer reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance‑based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality.
