Job DetailsDescriptionClassification: Hourly, Non-Exempt, SeasonalWork Duration: June 15 – July 17, 2026 (end date tentative; subject to change)Work Schedule: Approximately 3–4 hours/day, varying by workloadPrimary Reporting Line: Video Production ManagerEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPre-ProductionAssist with shot planning, scheduling, and on-campus location coordinationHelp prepare scripts, interview prompts, and production materialsOrganize and prepare camera, lighting, and audio equipment before shootsProductionAssist with camera, lighting, and audio setup on locationHelp keep shoots organized and moving efficientlyOperate a secondary camera or assist with framing and composition under directionSupport shoots across a variety of campus settingsPost-ProductionAssist with media ingest, file organization, and project managementSupport editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After EffectsHelp prepare and export finished videos for web and social mediaGeneralMaintain organized digital assets and project filesFollow established brand and visual standards for school contentAssist with additional production tasks as neededPosition RequirementsCurrent high school student with an interest in video, film, or mediaSome familiarity with cameras or editing software is a plus, but not requiredStrong attention to detail and willingness to learn professional tools and workflowsPunctual, dependable, and takes feedback wellStrong communication and collaboration skillsInterest in visual storytelling and content creationAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamCommitment to representing the School in a professional mannerWhat The Intern Will GainThis internship provides direct, one-on-one mentorship on active projects using professional equipment and workflows. The intern will develop practical skills in camera operation, lighting, audio, and post-production, and will finish the summer with portfolio-ready work samples and a clearer understanding of the field.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this role, the intern may be required to stand, walk, lift equipment (up to 20 lbs), and work on location in various environments across campus.
