This role is specifically for candidates who come from the application side, rather than infrastructure or DevOps-only backgrounds.Position: AWS Application ArchitectLocation: Remote – USAType: Full-Time/ ContractWhat We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience designing and architecting enterprise applications on AWS, with deep expertise in Amazon EKS and the broader AWS ecosystem.Key Requirements:Strong experience as an Application Architect / Solutions Architect with an application-focused backgroundExtensive hands-on experience with Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)Strong understanding of containerized and microservices-based applicationsExpertise across major AWS services, including:EKSECSEC2LambdaAPI GatewayS3RDS / AuroraDynamoDBSQS / SNSEventBridgeCloudFrontIAMVPCCloudWatchExperience designing highly scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native applicationsStrong understanding of API, integration, microservices, and distributed application architectureExperience with application modernization and migration to AWSStrong knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development practicesAbility to work closely with development teams and provide technical architecture directionImportantThis is an application-focused architecture role.We are not looking for candidates whose experience is primarily Infrastructure, System Administration, or DevOps.
