Mission of the RoleThis position will be based out of our Minneapolis (MN), Canton (MA), or Richmond Hill (Ontario) office, working 4 days in office and 1 day hybrid.This posting is for an existing vacancy.The Customer Project Manager ensures development projects and programs meet customer and SICK requirements by providing technical project leadership across functional boundaries for different phases of software and hardware product development and support programs, researching special business and technical issues.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure attainment of project/program schedules, budgets, procedures, and revenues by developing and monitoring the budget and approval process.Lead cross-functional teams; establish and communicate project / program schedules, objectives, priorities, and targets.Monitor the status of projects/programs.Provide technical interpretation and expertise, as required; ensure adherence to policies, procedures, government regulations, and customer specifications; ensure the documentation of project/program activities and deliverables.Ensure the proper systems integration by overseeing the development of systems integration and systems assurance test plans and procedures, reviewing test results.Keep Senior Management informed on project/program status by creating and maintaining written reports on project/program status, tests, costs, issues, and performance to establish targets on a regular basis, making presentations.Assist with business research and technical issues to establish what is being done and where improvements are possible.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attaining educational seminars and trade shows; reviewing professional publications and analyzing new trends; establishes personal networks; participates in professional societies.Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results in cooperative and supportive manner.Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.Key QualificationsExperience2+ years of experience of systems design, production disciplines, and project managementEducationBachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or related field preferred.CertificationsNAPosition-specific QualificationsGood analytical, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.Able to develop and implement plans, procedures, and processes to accomplish a goal.Computer/TechnologicalProficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, experience with SAP is preferred.LanguageProfessional written and spoken fluency in English required.ScheduleGenerally Monday to Friday, full time; be on-call on some weekends (if required).General Working ConditionsBe able to usually work in an office environment; flexible (hybrid) work arrangements available.TravelBe able to travel up to 20% of the time.Work StatusLegally permitted to work in the country you are applying and willing to undergo an employment background check.CompensationThe base salary is one part of our Total Rewards package and is determined within a range.
