Patient Service Representative OpportunityFurstStaffing has a need for a Patient Service Representative to join the staff at a local clinic. The Patient Service Representative will be responsible for maintaining current patient demographics, informing clients about clinic programs and protocols, managing patient flow by scheduling and directing clients to the appropriate area or department of the clinic and ensuring proper clinic staff or departments are notified. This is a Furst-to-Hire position.Hours: 9:30am to 6pm M-FPay: $15.23/hour with a.50 differential for bilingual abilitiesBilingual Patient Service Representative Responsibilities:Comply with established policies and procedures, objectives, HIPAA, safety and environmental standardsEducate clients on all clinic programs and protocolCoordinate with medical team to ensure consistent patient flowAccommodate all scheduling needs using clinic standards and guidelinesEnsure accuracy of all patient information, as well as protecting the patients rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial informationManage and reconcile cash drawerCollect data for routine and publicationMaintain office supply inventoryBilingual Patient Service Representative Requirements:Bilingual English/Spanish preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentUnderstand basic mathShow follow-through, assume responsibility and use good judgmentCommunicate effectively and diplomatically with patients, external insurance providers, and contracting entities and facility personnelPossess strong customer service skillsDemonstrate punctuality and dependabilityShow ability to understand and follow verbal and written communicationDemonstrate ethical conductAbility to multi-taskStrong attention to detailAbility to solve problemsPleasant and professional demeanorPlease contact Denessa or Courtney at 815-229-7810; or apply here.
