Accounting Director

Overview KNM is recruiting for a Director level Accounting position in Central NJ. Ideal professional will possess 10+ years of Big 4 experience or 15+ years of Big 4 and Corporate Accounting experience with a subject matter expertise in select ASCs. For more opportunities from KNM Resources, please visit https://www.knmresources.com/all-openings.ResponsibilitiesOversee the day‑to‑day accounting and reporting, including leases and fixed assetsEnsure timely and accurate month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities, providing roll-forwards and schedules for reporting and disclosuresCollaborate with internal teams and external auditors on complex, non-routine accounting transactionsProvide operational data, analysis, etc. to support position papers and conclusionsProvide accounting oversight for construction and infrastructure programsPartner across teams to ensure accurate asset tracking, cost capture, and capitalization supportManage lease accounting operations and oversee lease accounting systems and integrations with the GLProvide support for new lease arrangements, modifications, and renewalsOversee accounting for operations, including billing for 3rd party servicesSupport due diligence with accounting informationExecute approved purchase accounting adjustmentsLead integration into existing systems, processes, and internal controlsServe as key liaison for internal and external audit needsMaintain control documentation, support walkthroughs and testing, and drive timely remediation Lead, mentor, and develop team membersDrive standardization, automation, and system enhancements in partnership with ITQualificationsBachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; Master’s a plusCPA required10+ years Big 4 or 15+ years of Big 4 and Corporate Accounting experience Experience in publicly traded companiesStrong U.S. GAAP ASC 360, ASC 350, ASC 842, ASC 410 SOX compliance
