Warehouse Supervisor
Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. Warehouse Supervisor will support the logistics and execution of supplies for our global social impact events. This role is responsible for managing warehouse operations, including inventory tracking, order fulfillment, packing and shipping event materials, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. Some of our customers include Colgate, Paramount, Visa, HubSpot, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and more.Responsibilities: Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse staff, providing day-to-day direction, performance feedback, and training to build a high-performing teamIdentify operational inefficiencies and lead initiatives to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) that improve warehouse workflows, accuracy, and throughputLead palletization efforts and ensure items are properly packed, labeled, and ready for shipmentMaintain an organized warehouse layout and oversee general warehouse setup and upkeepManage inventory within the inventory management system, ensuring accurate records and usageMonitor stock levels, conduct inventory checks, and maintain inventory accuracySource, purchase, pack, label, and ship materials needed for Visit.org's global social impact eventsTrack shipments and coordinate delivery timelines to ensure materials arrive on timeEvaluate vendors and maintain relationships with wholesalers and suppliersHandle and organize palletized shipments, including building, wrapping, moving, and preparing pallets for storage and outbound shippingMaintain purchase records, shipment tracking details, and supplier informationCoordinate with internal teams regarding event supply needs and logistics timelinesAssist with cost tracking and reporting, and with additional operational projects as needed. Requirements2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or fulfillmentProven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team in a hands-on operational environmentExperience identifying inefficiencies and implementing SOPs or process improvements to enhance warehouse operationsExperience with picking, packing, shipping, and basic warehouse supervisionFamiliarity with inventory management systems or warehouse management toolsProficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, particularly spreadsheetsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and problem-solving skillsExperience working in a fast-paced startup environment Passion for our mission and the desire to make an impact in the world through technologyWhat we offer:This is an on-location, full-time role based in Northvale, New Jersey, with a competitive salary and health benefits.
