Must Haves:Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering4-6 years of experience in an electrical engineering field in product developmentProficient in 3D CAD software, preferred CREO 4.0 and greaterDemonstrated history of delivering quality products to market with understanding and respect for phases of the product development processKnowledge of NEC (NFPA79), UL 508A/SB and/or UL Standards for HVAC systemsPlusses:Ability to mentor and guide less experienced team membersExperience with PLM systems (BOM management and change order release)Experience in an HVAC related electrical engineering field.Knowledge of UL60335-2-40 or equivalent CSA/UL standardsUnderstanding of electrical schematic layout and creationExperience with communication and interconnect standards and protocols including RS485, CAN, and EthernetDAY TO DAY:This posting is for an experienced Sr Electrical Engineer that will lead the design and release of electrical parts and assemblies on High Density Liquid Cooling units. This Sr Electrical Engineer will work in a cross-functional development group; managing a variety of tasks and activities as required in this dynamic environment to solve complex problems where no precedence exists.Key ResponsibilitiesLead design of electrical systems for Liquid Cooling Systems including Two-Phase and Single-Phase Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs)Lead sizing and selection of electrical components based on offering and system requirementsLead design of unit wiring schematics and network connection drawingsLead design of electric panel layouts following relevant codes and standardsLead design of wire harnesses including wire sizing, appropriate terminal connections, and necessary routingCheck and approve drawings and bill of materialsLead and review design work of junior level electrical engineersWork with software team to develop and verify system controlsParticipate in identification of cost reduction opportunities and in the design and development of cost reduction changesImplement product changes to solve field issues and support the service department
