Hunter Wheeling is open from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AMAddress: 1 West Alexander Road, Valley Grove, WV 26060Sign-On Bonus: Earn up to $5,000 for Expert and Master-Level Diesel Technicians!What You’ll DoAs a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you’ll perform minor repairs and assist with maintenance, ensuring all work meets factory and dealership standards. You will:Perform work on minor repair orders with efficiency and accuracyDiagnose causes of malfunctions and complete repairs as directed by a supervisorAssist other technicians on major repairsCommunicate with the parts department to obtain needed partsSave and tag warranty or customer-requested partsExamine vehicles for additional safety or service needsDocument all work performed and recommended, including warranty informationRoad test vehicles as required or refer to test technicianKeep work area, service truck, and customer vehicles clean and organizedReport machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisorStay current on manufacturer technical bulletinsFollow all federal, state, and local regulations, and adhere to Hunter Truck safety policiesWhat You Bring◆ Education & Experience: One-year certificate from college or vocational technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Must own basic hand tools.◆ Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver’s License required; must meet company insurability standards. CAT experience or certification.◆ Physical Requirements: Regular standing and use of hands; frequent walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs , frequently up to 100 lbs , and occasionally more than 100 lbs.
