Electrical Engineer - III

What You'll Do Lead and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and technical staff across multiple projects. Serve as Engineer of Record when assigned. Oversee electrical system design, including power distribution, lighting, auxiliary systems, single-line diagrams, and equipment layouts. Review and coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and other project disciplines. Supervise engineering studies, including short circuit, coordination, arc flash, voltage drop, and load analysis. Review submittals, specifications, equipment selections, and commissioning documentation. Conduct site visits, field investigations, and resolve design issues during construction. Collaborate with project managers, clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure successful project delivery. Perform value engineering, review contract documents, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards. Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and technical problem resolution throughout the project lifecycle. WHAT YOU BRING TO US: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of Engineering Experience One-year on-site field experience strongly encouraged Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience Licensure as a US-based Professional Engineer is required WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering subjects, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, energy conservation, value engineering, applicable codes, standards, etc., is required to design state-of-the-art constructible projects. Proficient in Autodesk, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), Illumination software, and Oracle software pertaining to Engineering Productivity and CAC generation. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position Ability to be self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others Pay: $120,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
