Flexographic Press Operator 2 - Day Shift (Hiring Immediately)
<p>About the Opportunity:<br>• Job Title: Flexographic Press Operator 2<br>• Pay Rate Range: $25.00-$28.00/Hour<br>• Location: Oakdale, MN<br>• Schedule: Day Shift, Monday-Sunday 6AM-6PM, 12-hour Rotating Shift<br>--Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday<br>--Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday<br>• Position Type: Temp to Hire<br><br>Requirements and Qualifications:<br>• Requires a thorough knowledge of Flexographic printing procedures, materials and specifications, equipment, and safety requirements and skills to perform assignments.<br>• Skill to read and understand job specifications and knowledge of press capabilities to determine the most appropriate press usage, press settings and materials needed to run the job successfully.<br>• Skill to make a variety of difficult precise web paths, and adjustments, and to perform routine operational maintenance of equipment.<br>• Skill in routine operational maintenance and minor repairs to equipment.<br>• Knowledge of basic computer skills, excel, Word and Google, preferred.<br>• Skill in use of Mark Andy, Aquaflex, Comco, Webtron, Gallus, and Nil Peter preferred.<br><br>Duties and Responsibilities:<br>• The position is responsible to set up, adjust, operate, and maintain a number of press equipment.<br>• Perform all make-ready tasks associated with the Flexographic press operated such as mounting plates or installing print cylinders, examine plates/cylinders for imperfections and checks for correct positioning of images, prepping web paths, adjusting tension and register etc.<br>• Make necessary color correction and anilox adjustment and/or press adjustments prior to production run to meet and maintain the quality specifications of the work.<br>• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press, making minor repairs and replacing worn or broken parts as required.<br>• Performs periodic maintenance recommended by the manufacturer.<br><br>Discover Award Staffing: <br>At Award Staffing, we believe that work should be more than just a paycheck—it should inspire, empower, and create a sense of purpose.
