Safety Supervisor: Electrical DivisionsCompensation: $95,000–$115,000 base + benefits + profit sharingNon-exempt; overtime eligibilityLocation: Pacific Northwest (hybrid/remote - monthly in-office presence required in Longview, WA)WA preferred; ID and OR candidates consideredMust be within a 2-hour flight of the Longview, WA office.Boise, ID office is also available.Travel: Approximately 75% across WA, OR, and IDRelocation: Assistance available for qualifying candidatesReports to: VP of Health & SafetyRequired QualificationsAt least 5 years of experience in safety management within industrial, construction, or environmental settings.Hands-on experience in high-voltage or electrical safety environments such as powerlines, substations, hydroelectric facilities, dams, or similar.Strong understanding of applicable regulations, including OSHA, WISHA, MSHA, EPA, and electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E, NESC).Effective communicator with the ability to work closely with field teams, management, and senior leadership.Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements.Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays.Preferred QualificationsDegree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, or CHST (or currently in progress).OSHA Train-the-Trainer certification.MSHA instructor certification.Experience supporting safety operations during industrial shutdowns or maintenance outages.About the OpportunityOur client is a fast-growing industrial services organization based in the Pacific Northwest, supporting complex, high-risk environments across multiple sectors. These teams operate in high-voltage environments, including power generation sites, industrial facilities, and utility infrastructure.This role is tailored for a safety professional with direct experience in electrical or high-voltage settings. Candidates should be familiar with risks such as arc flash, energized work, and testing procedures, and be comfortable working in field-intensive environments.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Safety Leadership (Primary Focus)Act as the primary safety contact for two electrical divisions, providing hands-on support across project sites.Lead safety onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.Organize and participate in monthly safety meetings.Conduct job site audits, document findings, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Develop project-specific Health & Safety Plans (HASPs) for electrical and controls work.Coordinate safety during industrial shutdowns, including planning, staffing, and pre-job walkthroughs.Incident Response & ComplianceLead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and reporting.Support injured employees and coordinate return-to-work processes.Ensure compliance with OSHA, WISHA, MSHA, EPA, and other relevant standards.Perform regular inspections of job sites and equipment.Collaboration Across TeamsPartner with field supervisors and division managers to integrate safety into daily operations.Work alongside the broader HSE team to maintain consistent safety practices across the organization.What Sets This Role ApartThe company has grown from $55 million in revenue in 2022 to over $167 million today, with continued expansion planned.
