We manufacture mobility device lifts for vehicles and accessibility products to help those with mobility difficulties enjoy their independence and continue to make meaningful memories, whether they’re at home or on the road.The Training Specialist is responsible for delivering assigned technical training sessions and supporting the Training Manager in the execution, preparation, and continuous improvement of Harmar’s training programs.The position plays a hands-on role in leading portions of classes, facilitating hands-on exercises, and representing Harmar in front of learners, while also performing essential administrative, logistical, and content-support tasks.Training is delivered in multiple formats—including in-person instruction in Sarasota, FL, virtual classes, and occasional on-site training at dealer or partner locations—requiring strong communication skills, professionalism, and willingness to develop as a facilitator.Primary ResponsibilitiesTraining DeliveryDeliver assigned sections of technical training classes independently, with opportunities to lead full sessions as skills grow.Co-facilitate instructor-led training with the Training Manager, supporting demonstrations, hands-on activities, and learner engagement.Provide real-time guidance, coaching, and support to learners during hands-on practice.Assist with demonstrations of equipment, tools, installation processes, and troubleshooting steps.Maintain a learner-first environment by ensuring delivery is clear, engaging, professional, and aligned with Harmar standards.Training Preparation & Content SupportAssist in creating, updating, and maintaining training materials, presentations, job aids, and standard operating procedures.Prepare training equipment, fixtures, products, and tools before each session to ensure smooth delivery.Support the ongoing upkeep of demonstration units and hands-on training equipment.Program & Administrative SupportManage learner registrations, rosters, and scheduling through the Learning Management System (LMS).Track course completions, evaluations, and certifications, ensuring timely and accurate updates.Maintain training records, scorecards, attendance logs, and performance metrics.Support classroom setup, cleanup, and reset between sessions.Ensure the Training Center and Lift Lab remain clean, organized, and professional.Training Preparation & Content SupportAssist in creating, updating, and maintaining training materials, presentations, job aids, and standard operating procedures.Prepare training equipment, fixtures, products, and tools before each session to ensure smooth delivery.Support the ongoing upkeep of demonstration units and hands-on training equipment.Program & Administrative SupportManage learner registrations, rosters, and scheduling through the Learning Management System (LMS).Track course completions, evaluations, and certifications, ensuring timely and accurate updates.Maintain training records, scorecards, attendance logs, and performance metrics.Support classroom setup, cleanup, and reset between sessions.Ensure the Training Center and Lift Lab remain clean, organized, and professional.Key AccountabilitiesEffective delivery of assigned training modulesHigh-quality, engaging training experiences that support learner successAccurate and timely training records and reportingWell-maintained training materials and equipmentProfessional, organized, and customer-ready training facilitiesPrompt and effective response to internal and external training requestsReliable support to the Training Manager and training teamRequirementsBachelor’s degree in education, communications or technical field;
