At Parker, our team members belong, matter and make a difference.Position SummaryThe EHS Manager is responsible for EHS management for our two facilities in Danville, KY. Will coordinate all aspects of environmental, health and safety (EHS) management to successfully meet or exceed enterprise and business unit goals.Will lead the Site Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) program to protect employees, contractors, visitors, and the environment – while supporting safe, compliant, uninterrupted operations and continuous improvement.Reports to the Site Leader with a dotted-line connection to Corporate EHS. Partners daily with Operations, Lean, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and HR. Leads and develops an on-site EHS team.Essential FunctionsOwn and improve the site EHS management system aligned to Parker directives and legal requirementsDrive regulatory compliance (OSHA/EPA and local/state/provincial requirements), permits, reporting, and inspectionsLead audits, risk assessments, incident/near-miss investigations, and corrective actionsMaintain ISO 14001 environmental management system readiness and performanceEmbed EHS into daily operations, tier meetings, metrics, and leader standard workSupport capital projects and Management of Change (MOC) with strong EHS integrationManage contractor safety programs (prequalification, orientation, permits, oversight)Strengthen safety culture through engagement, observations, ergonomics, and focused risk-control programsMaintain emergency preparedness plans, drills, training, and response readinessCoach and develop EHS staff; build site capability in EHS and continuous improvement/Lean methods QualificationsBachelor degree in a manufacturing-related business or technical discipline8+ years of progressive EHS/manufacturing operations experience4+ years in a leadership role with strong project planning and team coordination skillsWorking knowledge of OSHA (including PSM), EPA, and applicable regulatory requirementsStrong skills in problem-solving, standardization, program management, and continuous improvementSelf-starter who works well cross-functionally and drives resultsProfessional certification/designation preferredCome join the Parker Aerospace Team!
