This is a potential to hire opportunity on 2nd shift.Machine Operator Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Operate production equipment to produce products in accordance with production needsProduce assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructionsComplete equipment set-ups in accordance with customer specifications and quality proceduresProduce products up to safety and quality standards in an efficient mannerReject products that do not meet standards in placeRecord length of time and quantity of materials used for each job; inspect parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as neededHelp and assign packers as needed for production lineReport any machinery issues to MaintenanceTroubleshoot the machine as neededMachine Operator Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift (8-10 hours)Ability to stand for long periods of time throughout shift (8-10 hours)Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel throughout shift (8-10 hours)Must have over 1 year of machine operation experience in a food production environmentAbility to do basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionAbility to follow written and verbal directions in EnglishProblem-solver, good communication skillsQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
