Shipping and Receiving Supervisor - Bilingual - Elgin, IL$60,000 - $70,000/annually plus benefitsPosition SummaryJoin our team as a Bilingual Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager. In this key role, you’ll drive the efficient, accurate, and compliant movement of goods, ensuring top-tier safety and customer service standards. You will collaborate across departments, streamline shipping processes, and play a vital role in optimizing warehouse operations.What You'll DoLead and motivate a team of 7–10 associates, setting daily priorities and ensuring productivity. Oversee all shipping department operations, monitoring performance and workflow. Manage the assembly and packaging of product orders for accurate and timely shipment. Coordinate shipping schedules to ensure on-time delivery to customers and vendors. Maintain organized, accurate shipping documentation and data records. Identify operational challenges, evaluate solutions, and recommend corrective actions. Support Receiving and Inventory functions, including the movement of raw materials and finished goods. Communicate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any shipment issues. Keep the Warehouse Manager informed of departmental progress, successes, and obstacles. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
