Position Summary Sapphire Technologies is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex product-development and customer-application programs for natural-gas and data-center infrastructure.The programs integrate high-speed rotating machinery, active magnetic bearings, power electronics, controls, manufacturing, and field deployment. Several are progressing from development into production and will require significant manufacturing scale-up.The Technical Program Manager will own the integrated program schedule, identify and protect the critical path, prioritize cross-functional work, and coordinate resource needs with functional leaders. Establish an integrated schedule with clear owners, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and decision dates. Identify the critical path, resource constraints, and near-term schedule risks. Implement a reliable process for tracking customer questions and technical deliverables. Success means: The team has one credible plan, critical activities are visible and prioritized, resource conflicts are being addressed, and customer requests have clear owners and due dates.First 180 Days - Drive Critical Milestones Continuously manage the critical path and reprioritize work as program conditions change. Coordinate resource requirements with engineering, operations, supply chain, and functional leadership. Lead execution of builds, testing, certification, supplier activities, and customer commitments. Coordinate technically reviewed responses to customer questions and deliverables. Establish recovery plans for milestones or commitments at risk.First Year - Enable Launch and Repeatable Execution Lead programs through validation, production readiness, deployment, and early production. Establish repeatable processes for scheduling, resource planning, build readiness, issue closure, change control, and customer deliverables. Use schedule and resource data to support staffing, outsourcing, supplier, and capacity decisions. Capture lessons learned and improve execution for future products and customer programs.Core Responsibilities Build and maintain integrated program schedules across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, validation, certification, commissioning, and customer activities. Identify and manage the critical path, schedule dependencies, resource constraints, decision deadlines, and recovery actions. Prioritize cross-functional work based on technical risk, customer commitments, and business impact. Forecast resource needs and work with functional leaders to resolve capacity gaps and competing priorities. Define and manage program scope, deliverables, budgets, risks, acceptance criteria, and change control. Lead cross-functional reviews and maintain accountability for decisions and commitments. Manage customer technical questions from receipt through assignment, review, approval, and final response. Coordinate customer deliverables including specifications, drawings, analyses, test reports, schedules, and corrective-action updates. Provide concise reporting to leadership and customers on progress, risks, decisions, and recovery plans. Coordinate suppliers, contractors, technical partners, and field activities as required.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Five or more years of experience leading or coordinating complex engineering and product-development programs. Demonstrated ability to build integrated schedules, manage critical paths, prioritize work, and coordinate limited technical resources. Experience managing customer technical requirements, questions, deliverables, and expectations. Working knowledge of electromechanical product development, manufacturing, procurement, validation, certification, and production launch. Ability to interpret technical requirements, drawings, analyses, test data, budgets, schedules, and risk assessments. Strong written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills. Travel of up to approximately 25% may be required for customer meetings, supplier reviews, testing, commissioning, and field support.
