Real Estate Project ManagerLocation: Cupertino, CA (On-site)Type: Full-timeRole DescriptionThe Real Estate Project Manager coordinates and drives projects through acquisition, entitlement, design, and construction phases for community development and starter home projects. This role is responsible for day-to-day project delivery, consultant management, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and aligned with AlphaX's mission of building sustainable, community-focused housing.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full lifecycle of assigned real estate development projects, from acquisition and due diligence through construction and delivery.Build, update, and monitor project pro formas and financial models; track performance against budget and schedule.Lead consultant teams (architects, engineers, planners) and coordinate with municipal staff, agencies, and community stakeholders.Prepare entitlement and permitting applications; oversee submittals, responses, and revisions.Identify risks across entitlement, financing, and construction; propose mitigation strategies.Maintain project documentation, trackers, and status reports for senior leadership.Support financing activities, including lender due diligence, investor reporting, and closing documentation.Represent AlphaX in meetings with city staff, community members, and external partners.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Architecture, or related field.Home builder experience is a plus.3–5 years of experience in real estate development, project management, or construction management.Experience with entitlement and permitting processes in California (Bay Area preferred).Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Competencies & BehaviorsProblem-solver and self-starter.Collaborative team player with ability to work independently.Effective communicator with public agencies, consultants, and community stakeholders.Strong ownership and accountability for results.Committed to AlphaX's mission of delivering sustainable, equitable housing.BenefitsWe offer a compensation package that rewards your expertise and dedication.Paid lunch: Enjoy a complimentary lunch during work hours.Paid Holidays: Celebrate the holidays with paid time off.Full Suite of Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance: access to comprehensive coverage.
