Computed Tomography TechnologistBecome a vital part of the team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment for a hospital setting. You will perform CT exams in emergency and inpatient environments and document studies in the facility's electronic health record.Minimum Requirements:2+ years CT technologist experience.Graduation from a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography or CT program.Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT required.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.State of New Jersey license required prior to start.Experience performing basic and advanced CT exams in emergency department and inpatient settings required.Experience with GE 64-slice CT scanner required.Experience performing CT angiography (CTA) studies and all general CT study types required.Charting experience with EPIC electronic health record preferred.Ability to work independently and manage a typical caseload of approximately 25 cases per day preferred.Black scrub color required while on shift (facility policy).Assignment DetailsFacility type: HospitalShift: NightsSchedule: Night 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30)Must be able to perform CT studies in ER and inpatient areas.May be required to float to other facilities within the client network.Location HighlightsSomerville, NJ offers suburban lifestyle options with regional access to urban and outdoor attractions.
