A model of spiritually maturing discipleship as a member of TPCC’s ministerial staff
Primary Overseer of Groups, Weekend Response Team, and Care Ministry
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but is responsible for overseeing volunteer group leaders.
DUTIES/PRIMARY JOB PRODUCTS Healthy Groups which incorporate strategies for discipleship, leadership training, and multiplication
Effective Response Team with a focus on providing and scheduling Sunday morning prayer counselors
Recruit, train, support, and encourage Group Leaders
Inter-team collaboration and harmonious relationship with other staff members.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS Serve under the general oversight of and report directly to the Campus Pastor
Will be actively attending TPCC, fulfilling the expectations of the Engagement Pathway
Work toward fulfillment of job products in the context of ministry team(s)
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES Ability to work well in a team setting
Capable of coordinating efforts and collaborating with a variety of individuals
Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple groups
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to mentor group leaders
General knowledge of discipleship and leadership training
PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES Formal Biblical/theological training
Collaborate with Campus Pastor to ensure guests receive ongoing pastoral care.
Conduct pastoral visits to hospitalized guests and perform requested pastoral services such as baptisms, weddings, funerals and counseling.
