This is an exciting opportunity to lead technical execution on impactful projects, coach junior engineers, and contribute to solutions that strengthen and modernize the power grid.What You'll Do:Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for electric overhead transmission projects such as rebuilding existing overhead transmission lines, designing new green field transmission lines, and supporting utility project scopingPlan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staffMonitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues across critical electric transmission initiativesComplete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable, cost-effective, and future-ready grid solutionsProvide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff working on electric overhead transmission and power delivery projectsWhat You Bring:Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering requiredMinimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required; previous transmission engineer experience requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredAdvanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, MicroStation, PLS-CADD, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office required; AutoCAD experience preferredStrong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering lawsProven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment as well as independentlyExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with clients on a regular basisParticipation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferredWhy You'll Love It Here:Lead impactful electric transmission projects that directly support grid resiliency, energy transition goals, and reliable power deliveryMentor and develop emerging engineers dedicated to building the future of energy infrastructureCollaborate with talented professionals across disciplines in a flexible, supportive work environmentCurious about the impactful work our Electric Transmission team is doing?
