Job Title: Human Resources GeneralistLocation: Brea, CAJob Type: Full-TimeThe pay range is $80k to $100k annually and their work hours can be Mon to Fri from 7:30am to 4 PM or 8am to 5pmClient: Kirkhill MUST HAVE Spanish Language and work experience with Aerospace industries Job SummaryThe Human Resources Generalist supports the HR Director in managing day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and HR administration. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and ensures HR processes are executed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.Primary Responsibilities· Schedule interviews and coordinate pre-employment screenings, including physicals, drug tests, and background checks.· Prepare and distribute offer letters and new hire packets.· Conduct new hire orientations, ensuring employees understand company policies, benefits, and procedures.Employee Relations· Serve as a resource to employees and supervisors on workplace policies and employee concerns.· Assist in resolving employee relations matters in collaboration with the HR Director, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.· Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive employee information.Leaves of Absence & Worker’s Compensation· Coordinate all leaves of absence, including FMLA, CFRA, and other statutory or company leaves.· Administer and track worker’s compensation claims, liaising with insurance carriers and maintaining accurate documentation.· Communicate with employees and supervisors regarding return-to-work status and accommodations.Payroll & Additional Duties· Perform other duties as assigned to support the HR department and business needs.· Serve as back-up for payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payroll submissions.Records Management & Compliance· Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files and HR databases.· Process employee changes such as promotions, transfers, and separations.· Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, including I-9 documentation and record retention.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field1–2 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirementsExperience with HRIS systems (ADP Vantage preferred)Strong organizational and multitasking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
