As we continue to grow, we are looking to add a Junior Estimator to support our estimating and project team.Job Summary:The Junior Estimator will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates by reviewing project plans, performing material takeoffs, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in estimating and project management.Key Responsibilities:Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and productionPerform quantity takeoffs using BluebeamReview drawings, understand scope of work, project specifications, and project documents/contractual requirementsUtilize Microsoft Excel for calculations, cost tracking, and data organizationPrepare estimates and proposals using Microsoft WordCommunicate with vendors and suppliers via Outlook to obtain pricingSupport bid preparation and submissionMaintain organized digital files and estimating recordsCollaborate with project managers and production teamOther duties as assignedQualifications:02 years of experience in estimating, construction, manufacturing, or a related field (internships welcome)Proficiency in:Bluebeam (preferred or willingness to learn)Microsoft Excel (basic formulas and data organization)Microsoft Word and OutlookExperience reading construction drawings and specificationsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesStrong communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related fieldFamiliarity with panel systems, fabrication, or building materialsPrevious internship or entry-level experience in construction or manufacturing
