Less than an hour to Spokane International Airport or Silverwood Theme Park.Summary of Responsibilities:The bar lead oversees the staff and operations of a bar by making sure it's clean, functioning efficiently, and inviting for customers to relax in. The main duties include scheduling employees and building their shift calendars, managing and resolving customer complaints, and ensuring the bar's inventory is well-stocked.Primary Responsibilities and Objectives:Recruit, interview, hire, and train new bar staff employeesHandle customer complaintsAdvertise the daily, weekly, and monthly promotions of the barEnsure staff is following all food control and safety regulationsCreate employee schedules based on expected customer numbersEducation and Experience:High school diploma or GED is preferredAt least one year in hospitality or restaurant experience a plusSkills and requirements:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to diffuse conflict within the barDeveloped problem-solving skills requiredLeadership skills requiredOrganization skills requiredAbility to professionally and efficiently handle customer complaintsRequired to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days of employmentScheduling:Required to maintain a regular schedule which may require working outside of business hours, weekends, and non-traditional holidaysMay be required to be on-call and aid during staffing deficiencies on-siteEnvironment:Exposure to an environment typically found in a hotel or restaurantExposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditionsPhysical Requirements:Avenue5 will make reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
