This role develops programs, initiatives, and policies designed to create, increase, and retain membership. The Membership Manager also creates, updates, and distributes information to current and prospective members and is responsible for resolving escalated issues in coordination with various departments.Job FunctionsOversee and manage all new member recruitment and partnershipsManage logistics associated with prospective member recruitment and member retention, including tours with potential membersManage the prospective-member internal review processPartner with the Events Manager on event logistics, including private functions, social gatherings, and corporate eventsOversee and manage the CRMManage new member onboarding and orientationPartner with the Club General Manager to monitor and promote exceptional guest and member experiencesEnsure all members and guests adhere to club guidelinesManage program structure for confidential reporting of any club member violationsCreate communication strategies for various member communicationsPartner with hotel management on member and guest arrivals, parking, and valetDevelop, oversee, and manage a crisis-response plan for the clubWork closely with the General Manager and the entire club teamManage weekly analytics and reporting related to membership metricsMonitor and meet membership sales and club goalsAssist in creating membership collateral, processes, rules, and guidelinesWork with an independent membership committee in the member-selection processQualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred3+ years of proven success in a high-volume, luxury hospitality environmentStrong people-management skills with the ability to instill a culture of accountabilityStrong multi-tasking, organizational, and time-management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and social media platformsAbility to work flexible, non-traditional hoursEqual Opportunity EmployerThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
