Land Development Engineer - EIT

Our client is a growing boutique civil engineering firm located in Downtown Denver that provides civil engineering and land development services for a variety of projects throughout the Denver metro area.They are looking to add a Land Development Engineer / EIT with 2+ years of experience to their team. This is an opportunity for an engineer who wants to get beyond simply producing plans and have a more meaningful role in the design, coordination, and delivery of projects.The OpportunityIn this role, you’ll work closely with experienced engineers and project managers while taking increasing ownership of land development projects. The position offers strong technical exposure, direct involvement with clients and project teams, and a clear opportunity to grow toward project management responsibilities.Core Responsibilities:Design and develop civil engineering plans for land development projectsPrepare site plans, grading and drainage plans, utility plans, and construction documentsPerform grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility designDevelop plans and details using Civil 3DCoordinate with clients, architects, surveyors, municipalities, and other consultantsAssist with permitting and agency coordinationSupport project planning, scheduling, and construction administrationReview plans and documents for accuracy and qualityWork closely with senior engineers and project managers while developing independent project ownershipWhat We're Looking For2+ years of civil engineering experienceBackground in land development, site development, or civil site designExperience with Civil 3DUnderstanding of grading, drainage, utilities, and site designBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related fieldEIT certification preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsDesire to continue developing technically while taking on more responsibilityWhy Consider It?This is a particularly good fit for someone who wants the resources and project exposure of an established engineering practice without getting lost in a large corporate organization.You'll have the opportunity to:Take meaningful ownership of projects earlier in your careerWork directly with experienced engineers and project managersDevelop both your technical and project-management skillsGain exposure to clients and the full project lifecycleBuild toward a future Project Manager / Senior Engineer roleWork from a Downtown Denver office in a more collaborative, boutique environment
