Position Summary: We are seeking an Instructional Designer & Content Creator to design, develop, and maintain engaging training content that supports our franchise-based quick service restaurant (QSR) business. This role blends instructional design, content creation, and visual storytelling to deliver high-impact learning experiences for restaurant teams, managers, and corporate partners. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building e-learning modules and classroom-based training, updating and improving existing materials, and creating visually compelling guides, job aids, and toolkits that work in fast-paced, operational environments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties will be assigned to meet business needs. Instructional Design & Content Development Design and develop blended learning solutions, including E-learning modules (LMS-based), Instructor-led classroom training and Virtual training materials. Translate operational, compliance, and leadership topics into clear, engaging, and actionable learning experiences. Apply adult learning principles to ensure content is practical and easy to apply on the job. Content Creation & Material Updates Create and maintain training materials such as Training guides and facilitator manuals, Participant workbooks and job aids, Playbooks, quick-reference tools, and SOP-based learning content Review and update existing training content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with current operations, brand standards, and systems. Adapt content for multiple audiences (restaurant team members, managers, franchisees, corporate partners). Visual & Graphic Design Design visually engaging materials using brand-aligned graphics, layouts, and templates. Create infographics, diagrams, icons, and visual workflows that simplify complex concepts. Ensure materials are easy to use in a restaurant environment. Franchise & Field Enablement Design training that supports franchise scalability, consistency, and ease of deployment. Collaborate with Operations, HR, Training, and Franchise teams to ensure content reflects real-world restaurant workflows. Incorporate feedback from the field to continuously improve training effectiveness. Project & Stakeholder Collaboration Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Partner with subject matter experts to gather content and validate accuracy. Maintain organized version control and documentation for all training materials. Qualifications Required Skills 3–6+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or training content development. Experience creating both e-learning and instructor-led/classroom training materials. Strong graphic design skills with experience creating polished, professional learning materials. Proficiency with tools including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or equivalent and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to simplify complex information and make it accessible to frontline learners. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Preferred Skills Facilitation experience Experience in a franchise, retail, hospitality, or quick service restaurant (QSR) environment. Familiarity with LMS platforms and learning content deployment. Experience designing training for frontline employees and people managers. Basic video editing or multimedia experience is a plus.
