Material Supply SpecialistThe Material Supply Specialist ensures accurate and efficient material flow throughout the warehouse to support production needs. This role is responsible for staging materials, maintaining organization, and reporting inventory discrepancies. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel, is required. The Specialist will organize warehouse areas as needed to support transfers and ensure materials are staged correctly, while promptly communicating any inventory issues to the Inventory Control Supervisor.Schedules Open: Friday Tuesday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PMEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform accurate and timely transfers of materials between the freezer and other warehouse locations.Transfers performed will regularly include varying inventory types and configurations.Cross-functional communication with other production and warehouse departments to ensure the accuracy of picking and staging of materials for production.Ensuring all inventory is properly tagged with appropriate inventory information and located in the correct warehouse position and bin location.Perform cycle counts and bin audits as required to confirm inventory accuracy throughout the facility.Assisting in the preparation of outbound transfers of inventory from Suja to any off-site facilities; for co-manufacturing, resale, or disposals as needed.Adhere to SOP, SSOP, GMP, and HACCP guidelines when in the plant.Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions related to safety, equipment operation, and daily work assignments.Regular and reliable attendance.Job QualificationsEducation: High School or equivalent.Inventory and Manufacturing/Warehouse background preferred.Experience working in a freezer preferred.KnowledgeProficient experience in Microsoft Excel and basic competency in Microsoft Office Word and Outlook.Language Skills: English speaking is required; Spanish speaking is a plus.Other AbilitiesAbility to work well in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment and adapt to potential changes to schedule, job requirements, and daily priorities.Ability to work independently with moderate supervision to complete daily tasks.Working and Environmental ConditionsRegular work in freezer warehouse conditions at 10FTasks may also be required in: Wet refrigerated manufacturing facility (below 40F), Dry warehouse environment (up to 85F)Work areas may be tight with continuous exposure to noise levels exceeding 85 dBAStrict adherence to safety protocols, including required PPE: Safety glasses, Ear protection, Steel-toed shoesDaily use of tablet and RF handheld scannersOvertime may be offered and may be required to meet business needsPhysical DemandsAbility to stand and walk for the full shiftLift and carry up to 50 lbs; push/pull up to 100 lbs with continuous motionPerform repetitive movements including bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting, and twistingClimb ladders and stairs; work at heights when neededUse hands regularly to grasp, handle, and control objects with strong grip and dexterityComfortable working around moving machinery on occasionMust be able to pass a fit-for-duty physical examCompensation and BenefitsPay rate starts at $21.00 an hourMedical, dental, vision, life insurance, and morePaid Parental Leave 12 Weeks at 100% Pay401(k) match to help you plan for the futurePaid time off: vacation, sick days & holidaysJuice benefits: yes, we keep you fueled and refreshed!Suja Life is proud to be an equal opportunity employer seeking to create a welcoming and diverse environment.
