Role: Java full stack developer with ReactLocation: New York City (NYC)Domain: Banking OnlyJob Summary:We are hiring a seasoned Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in React 18 and Java (Spring Boot) or Node.js, and prior experience working in the banking or financial services domain. This role involves building secure, scalable, and performant web applications aligned with strict regulatory, security, and data privacy standards.You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and other developers to deliver mission-critical applications for digital banking platforms.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain high-performance full-stack applications using React 18 and Java (Spring Boot) or Node.jsBuild reusable, modular frontend components leveraging React Hooks, Concurrent Features, and Context APIDevelop secured APIs and backend services to handle large volumes of financial dataIntegrate with banking systems, third-party services, and internal APIs using REST/Graph QLFollow strict security standards such as OWASP, TLS, JWT, and OAuth2Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Product teams in a Agile/Scrum environmentWrite automated tests (unit/integration/e2e) and ensure quality through CI/CD pipelinesParticipate in code reviews and architecture/design discussionsHandle compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOX)Required Qualifications:4+ years of professional full-stack development experienceAt least 1 year of experience with React 18 and modern JavaScript (ES2021+)Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot) or Node.js (Express/Nest JS)Familiarity with banking systems, core banking integrations, or financial transaction processingProficient with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB)Experience implementing security protocols and regulatory complianceSolid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and styling frameworks (Tailwind CSS, SASS, etc.)Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architectureFamiliarity with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD toolsExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCPNice to Have:Experience with Next.js for SSR/SSGKnowledge of financial standards such as ISO 20022, SWIFT, or ACH/NACHAUnderstanding of Open Banking APIs and standardsFamiliarity with SAST/DAST tools for secure code practices
