Summary: Corrosion Engineering is seeking a Quality Control Inspector who is responsible for examining products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications. This position is a temp to hire position. Benefits and other company perks will be available once 520 hours of work have been performed. Early morning shift. Monday - Thursday (10-12 hour shifts). Fridays and overtime when necessary (depending on company needs). Training for the position will be provided. Quality Inspector Job Duties: Read blueprints and specifications Inspect parts to ensure that they meet production standards Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced Measure products using a tape measure Accept or reject finished items Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products Report inspection and test rubber in lab Requirements: - Strong attention to detail and quality control skills - Ability to work in a hot environment for 10-12 hour shifts. - Able to operate a forklift (willing to train if no experience) - Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds - Able to kneel, bend, and squat to perform required duties - Punctuality and reliability - U.S citizenship is required Corrosion Engineering provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
