Maintenance Technician

Danville Metal Stamping Co., Inc. is hiring for a Maintenance Technician. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting machinery and equipment utilized to fabricate aerospace engine parts.Essential functions of the position include:Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipmentFabrication of various itemsDaily use of power tool, hand tools, and forkliftBuilding maintenance to include, but not limited to painting, moving of furniture, etc.Yard maintenance to include, but not limited to mowing, weed eating, etc.Snow removal/deicing as needed (may require work outside of normal schedule)Use of company owned truck for work purposesWork in confined spaces and aboveground on scissor lifts, ladders, and other various pieces of equipment as neededDaily communication with employees at all levels of the organization and vendors when neededLifting up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodationWalking and/or standing 8 or more hours per shiftAll other duties as assignedQualifications for the position include:1+ year experience in a maintenance position in a manufacturing/industrial setting preferredPrior experience with design and fabrication using various material typesPrior experience in mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic maintenance and repairDemonstrated ability to comply with DMS policy and proceduresDemonstrated mechanical abilityBasic math skillsBasic knowledge of computers, Microsoft Excel, and IFSValid driver's licenseCompensation & Benefits SummaryPay Range: $16.00-$20.00/hr.Comprehensive Benefits package that includes:Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, and Vision InsuranceCompany Paid Life Insurance401K Plan with Company MatchPaid HolidaysPaid Time Off$.80/hr. increase after successful completion of 90 days of employmentThe above listed pay range and benefits are a good faith estimate by Danville Metal Stamping Co., Inc. for the position at the time of posting.
