Phlebotomist Specialist-Floater

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Floater to join our team in Columbus, GAWork Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with 1-hour lunch break.Can start as early as 7:30am and work as late as 5:30pm depending on business needs covering Columbus and Alabama area.Job Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when needed, Reliable transportation requiredOther Duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:* High school diploma or equivalent* Phlebotomy certification or completed Phlebotomy training program from an accredited agencyPreferred Qualifications:* 3 years of phlebotomy experience or more* Proven phlebotomy procedures on patients of all age groupsAdditional Job Standards:Able to pass a standardized color blindness test21 years of age and have a clean driving recordReliable transportationFlexibility to work overtime as neededExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionAt Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company.
