Join us!Your role as a Yard Dog / Spotter TruckKey responsibilities:Job description:The primary function of this position is to maneuver tractor trailers for the purpose of loading and unloading products while providing safety and security for the division yard and dock area.It is further required that above function be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.Maintain and maneuver equipment on yard prior to dispatch.Ensure the safe movement of equipment around yard and warehouse.Must be willing to work flexible hours.Maintain equipment while on site.Drop and hook tractor to trailer.Inspects truck for defects, before and after trips and submits reports indicating truck condition.Coordinate equipment for maintenance and repair (must be able to perform light maintenance.Must be able to perform a DOT Pre-Trip inspection on TrailersOther duties as assigned.Requirements:1+ year of work experience in related fieldsValid driver's licenseWho we are looking for:We are seeking motivated and forward-thinking individuals who thrive in collaborative and fast-moving environments.
